Damn. The tour in the North-East - the one that was doing Boston and the "New England Autumn" - got cancelled. Apparently there wasn't enough interest from customer.
So that segment of the trip may have to be rearranged. Will do some looking around and asking around as to alternative options. I'm still going to be in the North-East, but the dates may change depending on what's available.
Will be ETAs coming up for those curious.
1. Canyon Ranch Health Resort - Western Massachusetts. A little pricey at $2400 for 4 days - 24th - 28th.
2. globus - fall foliage 19th Oct to 24th Oct: twin share - $1759 - boston to boston, 6 days
3. insight - new england’s spectacular fall foliage - 18th Oct to 25th Oct: $2650 - boston to boston, 8 days
alternative options
i) stay in Vegas a little longer, maybe see some shows and vege out, then
ii) go to Sacramento, CA and visit
pandora_576, then
iii) up to Philadelphia, PA for the weekend of the 26th-29th Oct and see
slm76,
snoggingpicard, and
alliesings,
iv) end in Boston, MA until I fly out on Thursday 1st Nov.
I'd contemplate going other places and seeing other people, but I'm limited as far as flying distances and plane tickets go.
other things to see
Boston: North End Market Tours, and the Path To Independance
Or, I could just stay with someone and pay them to let me pester them instead. :) Actually, this is the first trip I'm taking that isn't at least 80% staying with people I know. And I'll be busy enough when it comes to Europe anyway...

Date: 2007-07-14 01:58 am (UTC)But the other side of it is that I'd really like to go places that I haven't been on previous trips.
And I haven't seen the North East US at all, and there are people all over the US that I'd love to visit...
