why be like norm, welded into your chair?

Ten days.
This weekend, I plan to relax. Chill out. Vege out. If I had friends in the area, I'd invite them around for a hangout BBQ or something. The house is all nice and clean since the owner is trying to sell the place and so everything is spick and span.
I wish I had friends in the area.
The nearest bunch are up at Wollongong, an hour's drive away. And they all have families, so I suspect that it would be difficult for them to pick up and head over here for the afternoon.
Otherwise, I should probably take a ramble through the neighbourhood with my camera. Particularly at dawn and dusk - the light here is beautiful.
Next weekend will be frantic: packing, picking up tickets and bits and pieces, packing, seeing Miss Saigon, packing, meeting up with people I won't see for two months, packing, my sisters' 30th birthday celebrations, packing, trying to make sure that I've got the first leg of my trip all sorted out, and packing.
I have Friday off, so I only have to work until Thursday. Most of what I'm doing is finishing things off, no new work. Still, I'm not sure if this is a result of having only one week to go, but my attention span is shot. Can barely concentrate.
Of course, I might be just a little bit tired. I've read about five books in the last ten days, usually past midnight.

Date: 2007-09-22 12:44 am (UTC)I'll be flying in on Friday morning, though - I just realised. My flight gets in around 6am Friday, and we'll be doing some sightseeing and stuff on the Friday. So we'll be meeting you Saturday, then?

Date: 2007-09-22 02:22 am (UTC)We're staying in the city as far as I know, so you could just come straight to the hotel. Friday, we'll probably be scoping out the city.
How many nights will you be staying? Just Friday or Friday and Saturday?
