change in Europe plans

The European tour is cancelled. They're offering a replacement from the 4th to the 13th November, with a refund for the difference in tour price.

stef94, this shouldn't make a difference to our meeting up in Amsterdam!

I can probably add another three nights to my stay in London before tripping off to see beefree88. I'd go somewhere else, but I'm not sure how much travelling I'll want to do at that point. By then, I'll have been on the move at least once every seven days for the previous seven weeks, and may be glad of a chance to just park myself somewhere.

I know tweets keeps promoting Cambridge (or is it Oxford?)...how long would it take to get out there? And the hostel rates are quite a bit cheaper. ($17:50GBP instead of $25GBP) I could head out that way after we get into London, and travel back to London on the 16th to hang out with purple_cube (and possibly agriope23?) over the weekend...

I need my map, so I can tell where the heck all these cities are!

I think both Cambridge and Oxford are about an hour and a small bit out of London. Cambridge, from Kings Cross is 1hr 15 on the slow train. Not 100% sure about Oxford
