USA Trip 2009

It looks like work emails are no longer allowing me to post to LJ. I posted one via email earlier and it hasn't yet turned up.

My leave has been approved for the trip, so we're now booking!

In short: 28th August to 11th September, San Francisco Bay Area, Washington DC, Atlanta, and Unknown Destination that I really have to work out pretty fast, because apparently it's might make a difference to how much this trip costs.


28/08 - 31/08 - San Francisco, staying with allisnow, hopefully meeting up with people in the Bay Area, from the North CA region, and any SJHW who can make it out there!
31/08 - 03/09 - Washington DC, hopefully staying with wojelah, hopefully meeting up with anyone in the DC/Maryland region.
03/09 - 07/09 - Atlanta, GA, attending DragonCon and staying in the Hilton with a friend of gwemegil's, and meeting up with all manner of crazy lovely peeps!
07/09 - 11/09 - Unknown Location. Still trying to work this segment of the trip out. Right now, I'm leaning towards Florida or New Orleans, neither of which I have ever been to.

Nifty coolo! Would you be interested in a fangirl gathering at my house? We've got a bunch o' fans here who'd love to sit around and geek out with a visitor. But if you'd find that overwhelming, we can just hang out.

I figure by August/September, I should be organized enough to have people over again :)

Oh! Would definitely be interested! Although right now, it looks like the DC section will be very short - only 2 nights from the 1st to the 3rd Sept.

you know what's great about this? one - you CAN go on holiday... two - you have a job when you get back! AND you get PAID while you're away...
