Testing the lj-cut. This part of the text is behind the lj-cut.. This part isn't behind the lj-cut.

Mostly, I want to see what DW does.

It didn't cut. Sorry!

Okay, this is weird. You and [livejournal.com profile] meeshy say it didn't, but [livejournal.com profile] arrietty thinks all of it did.

And when I look at it on my journal, it's not cut.

All of it was behind the cut

Hm. Out of three commenters, you're the only one who got a cut - although all of it was behind the cut, not just the part I wanted.

This is very weird.

Hon, quick query: are you logged in to LJ?

Did the cut say something like You are about to view content that may only be appropriate for adults?

Yes I was and am logged in and yes I have the You are about to view etc... Which is what I wondered if maybe that is why.

You and one comm are the only ones who have this setting on my flist.

Display Settings (http://www.livejournal.com/manage/settings/?cat=display).

I had "explicit adult content" listed, and you probably have "use strict/moderate filtering" listed.

I've taken the explicit adult content off, although technically, I have NC-17 stories on the journal. I guess most people don't really care about it that much.

I changed only one setting not the other. I've removed the collapse doodah.

Yeah, [livejournal.com profile] kismatt also says it didn't. Strangely, [livejournal.com profile] arrietty had all of it cut on her page!

And when I look at it on my journal, it's not cut.

Curiouser and curiouser...

Weird! (If it makes a difference, which I don't think it should, I'm viewing in firefox...)

Hm. I'm in firefox, too.

*goes to open IE*

Nope. doesn't seem to make a difference.

Hey, I wonder if [livejournal.com profile] arrietty was logged in at the time - otherwise, it does the whole You are about to view content that may only be appropriate for adults thing...

I read... somewhere that there's a bug in the cross-poster that's causing LJ coding (at least, I think it's just LJ coding and not regular HTML as well) to be stripped out when it's posted on LJ. It has been noted as a bug tho, and they're working on it.

But yeah, I never saw a cut either.
