ugh. sydney roads and traffic.
Nov. 19th, 2009 09:31 pmThe joy of driving in Sydney:
--
To the idiot who turned the corner and promptly swerved across three lanes to nearly crash into my car this morning, newsflash:
You are an asshole. If you can't turn left into the designated lane, let alone be aware that someone else is also turning left wider of you, then you shouldn't be bloody driving!
--
To the speedy gonzales who couldn't keep to his lane yesterday afternoon because he was talking on his mobile,
it's illegal to drive while talking on a handset. Learn the damn rules!
--
To the twit who rode my ass for a 3km stretch of road that was signposted 70km/h and along which I was already doing 80km/h,
you could have dropped back, zipped between the cars in the centre lane, and sped your way up the left lane and satisfied your need to go 'faster'.
--
To the RTA,
why the hell can't I toss a couple of rotten eggs at idiot drivers? Way more people need non-lethal/inexpensive negative consequences to their bad driving.
--
I swear, the driving around here is getting worse.
--
Note to self, unrelated to driving:
Dear Self,
When the arm says 'stop', it's probably a good idea to actually stop.
