1. Reply to this post with "supersonic", and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee.
sjhw_tolerance inquired after these five icons:

This is the X-Man Emma Frost, as drawn by Adam Hughes. I love Hughes' art, which is where I found this icon. The original pic had Jean Grey in it, whom I much prefer as a character over Emma, but Emma's a stone cold bitch in my lexicon (not sure how she's been more recently painted in comicdom) and her expression was great for a "I'm getting to be pissed off" icon.

Teyla in The Long Goodbye. Apart from really enjoying this scene, I love the text that the maker put on it - that warning threat of "I don't want to, but if I have to, I will." Every time I look at the icon, I can hear Teyla saying the text in a very calm, cool, inimitable way.
If you happen to be or know the icon-maker, let me know. I don't seem to have a record of who made it, and would like to give due praise!

Oh, E! Edna Mode from The Incredibles. Stylish. Opinionated. Hilarious. I needed an 'oh, please' icon and this was perfect for my needs. Plus, in the next scene, she leaps up on the table and yells "Pull yourself together!" at Helen, who was sobbing into her hands up to this point... How can you not love a character with this much blunt gumption?

I have no idea who made the original quotation (I look it up and keep forgetting), but it seemed perfect for Kara Thrace and the expression of sheer determination she has on her face at this moment in the shot: "Well-behaved women have never made history."

Maleficient was my first icon entered in a Disney icontest, just after I'd discovered how to make icons. I think the topic was either Sleeping Beauty, or Disney Villains. And I love Maleficent's clothing.
If you watch carefully, you'll notice that the word 'Maleficent' glows gently... :)
