seldearAfter three weeks off hockey, I played a Gala Day - 7 x 20 min games of hockey on quarter-sized fields.
My team (of 5 players) won - but today my butt and back ache!
Tonight, with my dad's help (and inspiration, because, let's face it, I'd never have bothered to do it myself), I waxed and polished the car.
I'm betting tomorrow will be hell on the shoulders and arms.
But it's been good having dad around for a bit. He's a lot more mellow than he's been in previous visits. And, I think, more willing to accept that if he's not willing to accept his mistakes in the past, he doesn't have a future with his daughters.
All to the good IMO...
