Jezebel: Mom Puts 7-Year-Old on a Diet in the Worst Vogue Article Ever
One word: ACK.
Note 1. I haven't read the original article.
Note 2. This might be another case of the 'Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother' where the woman recognised the failings in her decision on how to bring the child up. (But I kind of doubt it.)

The interview went pretty well - it was mostly a personality interview to see how I presented, whether I'd fit in with the culture, etc. And to tell me about the two projects they're looking at using me for.
Project 1: 10 mins drive away, starts after Easter and runs to October, very good money, at least one project member I've worked with before.
Project 2: 30 mins train away, starts after Easter and runs to December (with probable extension), good money, but the area isn't something I'm quite as skilled in.
I think I'd prefer Project 1 - just because the team is larger, it sounds like something I can do, but it also sounds like something I can learn from.
From the interview it very much sounded like they'd sign me up on the spot if I passed the technical. So I just have to make sure I pass the technical. Lots of technical revision coming up this week - all those things I used to know but have since forgotten!
