Got only a couple of hours sleep on the flight over, but managed to stay up most of the afternoon and only flagged on the drive home from shorts-shopping. Believe it or not, I turned up in NorCal inland, only to realise I'd packed two sets of jeans, one set of long loose trousers, two skirts, and not a single short. Oops. So we went shorts/capri shopping and I spent less than $100USD on two shorts, one pair of denim capris, and underpinnin's.
This is just an "I made it!!" post, before I write 800 words to this fic-errant, and probably fall into bed with a book to sleep the night through. That would be nice. I'm barely keeping awake right now. Not sure how I'll do 800 words.

allisnow and pandora576 and possibly catch up with K and B whose usernames I've completely forgotten and do not have the wherewithal to search right now.
Room's getting a bit spinny, might be time to bug out.
