Someone's photographed every page of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from beginning to end and put it up on torrents.

If you want to remain unspoiled, I suggest you be very sure that the people and communities on your reading f-list are thoughtful of spoilers, because sooner or later, someone's going to post spoilers in a public place just to be a wanker.

I'm still hoping to remain unspoilered when I read the book on Saturday (9am handout - for once, timezones rock!) but if I have to take a watergun along to shoot any brat who gets their book and starts yelling out spoilers, I will!

I have it from good authority (RL friend who's downloaded it and took a look) that it's the real deal.

He said that it's the whole book, it's readable, and it's the American children's version, complete with pictures.

I sure hope they posted it under a cut! (I saw that you'd posted on that already).

Well, it looks rather like we're going to get the wank early this time.

Which could be good (gets most of the wailing out of the way by Saturday) and could be bad (spoilers, spoilers, spoilers).

I think that to be absolutely certain that you don't get spoiled, the only option is to take yourself off-line.

Most of my f-lists and comms aren't related to HP anyway, and I'm 95% certain that everyone I've got friended is thoughtful of spoilers. So I'll stay online, although that's definitely going to be an iffy proposition since I want to watch the wank comms. :-/

Someone who wants to cause a lot of trouble, I guess!

XD

I think I might just have to wander through the line with my fingers stuck in my ears and muttering under my breath the entire time.

I can't believe the media isn't jumping all over it. I just GoogleNews-ed it now and there were only three articles - and only one was relevant. Maybe that's a good thing, otherwise I might have to unplug every broadcasting appliance in my house for the rest of the week.

I love your Icon. It makes me think of Torchwood... and Supernatural, and NCIS, and Dangerous Minds, and... Well, you get the idea ;)

Lol. It's from the 200th episode of Stargate SG-1. ;)

I can't get the book until Sunday (how rude of my family to hold a family reunion on Harry Potter Day! Heh.), and I'm so afraid that someone is going to spoil me ahead of time. I'm kind of a spoiler whore for some things, but I don't want to know anything about this.

You too?! My mother's family is holding one as well, but thankfully I'm not required to go along as it's all the distant relatives that I've never met in my life and that my mother doesn't even know properly.

Ha! There are many people at mine that I'm looking forward to seeing. But still, there's a little bit of "family members ... Harry Potter ... family members ... Harry Potter ... decisions, decisions." :)

Such a tough one. ;) I told my mother that if she dragged me along, I'd be the most miserable excuse for a human being on the planet because I'd either still be reading the book or I'd be in a grief-induced coma or something.

Hee! I'm fully expecting at least one of the kids at the reunion to be in a corner reading. And I will have to threaten them with Very Bad Things if they spill a word of what happens.

I'm seriously considering not going anywhere online except to check e-mail, the daily comics, and chat.

That's probably safest, I think.

I just use the internet to entertain me when I'm bored at work. Which is most of the time these days.

I was thinking lemon juice. Or maybe salt water if we want to be nice.

Salt water would make their eyes water a bit, but no harmful effects!
